Double DRS zone may be here to stay

F1 race director Charlie Whiting today revealed that the FIA plans to continue experimenting with double DRS zones for the remainder of the season, despite the fact that neither he nor the drivers believe that the format worked as expected at the last Grand Prix in Canada GP two weeks ago.

Engine clampdown to start in Valencia

Formula One teams will no longer be able to either change or tinker with their engines between the start of qualifying and the Grand Prix itself, a letter sent to them from the governing body the FIA has revealed.

Valencia debut for Pirelli's new medium tyre compound

This weekend's European GP will see Pirelli's new medium tyre compound, the PZero White, make its 'prime' debut. The PZero Yellow soft has been chosen as the 'option' tyre.
